Blue light glasses — tinted lenses

All SAY glasses: unisex frames for men and women, round or rectangular, lightweight, with non-prescription blue light filter and anti-reflective lenses. Clear (transparent) lenses for the day at the computer, amber or orange-tinted lenses for evening screen time. Every pair is checked before it ships and delivered with its case.

Clear or tinted lenses: which should you choose?

Clear lenses filter part of the blue light with no visible tint: you can wear them all day, on video calls and in the open-plan office alike. That's the case for MIDI (round, black), HAVANE (round, tortoiseshell) and JADE (round, translucent green).

Amber or orange-tinted lenses filter a bigger share of blue light — the warmer the tint, the stronger the filtering. On the other hand, they change how you see colours: keep them for the evening, when the screen stays on after sunset, and avoid them for photo editing. They are SAFRAN (round, amber), DUNE (black, orange) and BRAISE (rectangular, orange). To find out more: clear or tinted lenses, which to choose?

Round or rectangular: which frame for your face?

A round frame softens a face with strong features; a rectangular frame adds structure to a round face. Width matters as much as shape: the three numbers engraved on the temple (lens width, bridge, temple length) let you compare with a pair you already wear. See our size guide and which glasses shape for your face.

What blue light glasses do (and what they don't)

A blue light lens filters part of the blue light emitted by screens and, with the anti-reflective coating, reduces distracting reflections on the lenses. The effect on visual comfort varies from person to person and from one use to another. SAY glasses are non-prescription: they are not medical devices, and they replace neither an eye test nor regular breaks away from the screen. Already wear prescription glasses? Ask your optician for a blue light filter coating on your own lenses. What the studies say: blue light glasses, what are they really for? — and 8 habits against eye strain.
